Diamond, South Sea Pearl and Eighteen Karat Gold Moth Brooch – Buccellatti

The body of the moth is set with two baroque South Sea pearls overlaid with a yellow gold band set with rose-cut diamonds with pear set eyes and diamond set head. The yellow gold wings are engraved in a textured pattern and pierce in an openwork design and inset with white gold plaques set throughout with round brilliant-cut diamonds; Estimated total diamond weight: 6.50 ct. The two tone hard-stone cameo depicts the profile of a woman in the neoclassical style  wearing a Romanesque gown and diadem with coiffed serpentine locks. Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, Diamond and Eighteen Karat Gold Brooch

Designed as a stylized yellow gold Maltese cross centered by an oval turquoise cabochon surrounded by a white gold frame set with twenty round brilliant-cut diamonds and highlighted by oval turquoise and lapis lazuli cabochons alternately set around the center stone and highlighted by round brilliant-cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight: 3.50 ct.
