French Natural Pearl, Diamond and Silver Topped Gold Brooch

Centered by a natural silvery-purpelish grey pearl measuring approximately 8.2 mm surrounded by the silver topped yellow gold quatrefoil frame set at each compass point with a round old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.25 ct. each highlighted by a pair of round old European cut diamonds with the frame further set throughout with similar diamonds. The body of the moth is set with two baroque South Sea pearls overlaid with a yellow gold band set with rose-cut diamonds with pear set eyes and diamond set head. The yellow gold wings are engraved in a textured pattern and pierce in an openwork design and inset with white gold plaques set throughout with round brilliant-cut diamonds; Estimated total diamond weight: 6.50 ct.
